Just read this article published by Inc. Great tips, but I want to talk about #9. #9 states this: “Start exercising and eating right. You want to get ahead in your career? Be and look healthy. You’d think it would just matter if you “are” healthy and not what you look like, but the sad reality is people judge you by your weight and clothing choices. So, if you want to get ahead, you need to play the game.”
I agree with this mostly; what I mean is, while that reality they mention may be true, I want to suggest that you not think of it that way, but rather, think of it as WANTING to FEEL GOOD. If you feel good, you make better decisions, you are more confident and THIS will give you glowing reviews. When you take care of yourself by exercising and eating right, you will immediately reflect that self-care in everything you touch.
Now, if your wardrobe looks dated consider getting into a more modern place with your appearance. You have to be on top of your game as Inc. suggests. FEELING GOOD is huge, but balance is key.
